Konami Announces DDR MAX2 for the US

KOA should take the same route that KOJ did for the arcade Extreme and open up a new poll. Not only would it allow for a "can't miss" mix, it would also be a nice focal point for people who would otherwise be posting nothing but empty speculation and "I want!" comments all the time. On that note, my only post on what I want for the game itself is this: I hope they do put most of the nonMAX US songs already out into MAX2 for the frame rate and freeze arrows in edits. I hope we can make our own Oni (or Nonstop, if they include it also) courses. Lastly, I hope that Jason and the rest of KOA really listen to what we want on the game, all the while pumping our heads full of delicious bits of random clues. They did an outstanding job on the first MAX; let's see MAX2 be the undisputed champion!

First off, I do not want any repeat songs, unless they have new oni remixes( which should be unlockable for normal play).

Next, what we missed from max, now I dont mean all of it but some of the good ones like bye bye balloon ghosts and twilight zone.

Lastly, if it says max2 give it max2 songs I seriously love a lot of max2 songs, Give it Max Unlimited Kakumwhatever, Drifting away, Max overdrive, TSUGARU! wakalaka is cool too

Personally I dont really care if they do put in EX songs, if they do I hope they throw in Paranioa survivor or whatever it is called. I really love Legend Of Max, but doubt they would go that far.

Just a thought, would they decide to make a new "ultimate" song for the USA series? Legacy of Max

well just throwing out thoughts.

And I'm with Remy on the lesson mode thing. Y'know what we really need? Double lessons. When I first started playing Double this Christmas, I was totally clueless (and still am, somewhat). Lesson mode teaches some valuable techniques and how to recognize and execute some repeating step patterns, and double lessons would be all the better.

On returning to the middle; It is very, very sad. Especially when you see a guy at your arcade who AA's Exotic Ethnic Basic and returns to the middle on every step that isn't a freeze.

And I'm not kidding. This guy, on ALTERNATING LEFT-RIGHT steps, jumps with one foot in the center and one foot on the panel, back and forth.

Yeah, Max2 is coming out, that is great!! But whats even better is my cousin went to Toys'r'Us the other say and he saw that they were already selling Max2. I haven't seen it for myself but I believe. So DDR Freak.com has some really bad sources cause Max2 is already out!!!! Yeah!!!!! I'm going to go buy it when I get some money.

my cousin is like th fattest person in the world, so he would never buy ddr bscause it is to much of a workout for him(even walking is). Seriously, for Konami to get the American distribution rights to Lupin The 3rd '78, they'd have to pay some royalties to Pioneer Entertainment since they have all the licensing rights here in the United States, so that song may be a little doubtful to show up in MAX 2 unless Konami's willing to shell out the money.

The songs I would love to see in MAX 2 PS2 is Look At Us (C'mon, it was a huge radio hit in Hawaii 3 years ago! hell, Sarina Parish actually performed it at the mall that I routinely play MAX 2 at!) So Deep (This song has been requested for a very long time) and maybe Cowgirl (A Galloping song hasn't actually been introduced into a U.S. DDR Mix to my knowledge)

A vote would be the best idea. I'm really tired of people whinning about it better have this and this or it sucks or I hope it has this. voting should solve the problem. If you voted shut up and await the results if you didn't it's your fault so stop talking. but untill then this is the only place to voice your opinoin. I don;t know how big the DDR fan base is as a percentages but I think only a handfull of people like jenny rom so it may be a while before we get one of her songs. I mean look how long it took to get captain jack out here.
