I just got one of those MG Groove Beatpad pros. you need to set the timing to around +10 (!) to resynch while using them on a ps.

Provided you have a working flip top setup, the breaker pro works as well as the psx-exchange did on the ps1. psx exchange will not work on ps2, it's blacklisted i think.
