It's really easy to clean. Just unscrew the panel with the buttons, lift the glass out, wipe it down, and put everything back in place.

While you're in there you might as well wipe down the screen ...

When that happens to me, auto-adjust usually fixes it.

After you select a song, you know that you quickly hit return/enter again to bring up the menu with the arrow speed, solo, freezes off, mines, ...
