the best way to build a bar on a pad without destroying the pad would be to not build the bar onto the pad itself. Besides, the tx1000 doesn't really have room for bar :)

The TX1000 is not *that* similar to the TX2000. The 2000 defenitely feels more stable and durable. If you have to choose, choose the 2000, even if you don't want a bar.
