Yep, you can set the Arrows to "overhead" in the options. That is usually what I do.

Yes, if you want to play on a metal pad in Soxs or bare feet, get a CF. The RedOctane is definatley not ideal for use in those cases

I heard the biggest issue with the Converter will be that It won't recognize as a PAD for online rankings and stuff.

I would imagine that if you have a Metal Pad like the Cobalt Flux or Red Octane, ...
