there's these 2 comedy vids called Dance Dance Resolution and Dance Dance Revelation. it's about the Cornell DDR Club, and it gave me a good laugh =D.

yes, teams do exist, although some aren't official. take my team for example, we compete in a league, but play as individuals in large tournaments.

i'd suggest Max2 or Extreme2 to start out. Max1 is slightly off in timing and has a tighter perfect window than most console version, and Extreme imo doesn't have a songlist that'll keep u challenged ...
