well, softpads are cheap.
Get a new one at gamestop and some modding supplies from lowes, and $50 can get you a decent pad that will last quite a bit of time (even with hard use).

I just ordered a Super DualBox from Lik Sang and it works perfectly on my Mac, I didn't even need to install any drivers. It only cost $20 with the shipping factored in. |
