Just a warning: you probably won't be ecstatic about it at first. I mean, sure, when my controller came in, I played for 6 hours the first day. But it almost seemed like more of an obligation than a ...

I'd recommend Pop'n over IIDX, especially if you can play IIDX in the arcade. However, I wouldn't recommend building your own controller unless you use the real arcade buttons. From what I've heard, ...

I haven't had much experience with these things, but I'd say it's a steal at that price. $350 for almost any arcade game is pretty low, but especially for a Bemani game. I mean, crappy American game ...

I played a couple games at 8otb when I was there about a month ago, and it was kinda fun. I suck at it though, I couldn't pass anything above a 3.

Do you know what karaoke is? It's where people who don't know how to sing get up on stage and make a fool of themselves singing some crappy pop song. Here in America, we typically do it to American ...

I have wax paper in my IIDX turntable and it's much much better than before. It spins freely now. E1.gif

If you want J-pop songs, buy the Japanese "mixes" that (gasp) have J-pop songs. They're trying to market a Bemani game to Americans for once and people like you are ruining it.

LOL, it was simply a joke. I have a homemade DDR pad as well that I don't think I would ever part with, even though I hardly use it anymore.

My first game was IIDX, either 5th or 6th style CS. I don't remember which style or song was first, but it was around 3 PM on the 1st.

According to some people over at the Bemanistyle forums, the spacing between the buttons is 5.5". This is the same horizontally and vertically. I plan on building my controller using the Betson butt ...
