I generally find results with a sensible diet and 30 minutes of either DDR or Wii Fit a day. And some good sweat-producing exercises on Wii Fit, like the obstacle course, biking or Boxing.

Skater shoes, like Airwalks or Vans, anything with relatively flat soles, are the best.

I also like shoes with velcro.

I have a BNS Fusion foam pad and it's worked great for 2 years. The problem is, it's only PS2/Xbox/PC.

It sucks nobody's made a GOOD pad for Xbox 360. And prospects don't look good for PS3 either.

How many people here have the XFPS 360 adapter for Xbox 360 and use it for DDR? How well is it working out?

While we're talking about adapters, is there a good adapter available to use a Blue Shark on a GameCube? Since we know now that Hottest Party for Wii will use the GameCube connectors for the DDR pad.

Does anybody have a BNS Fusion Arcade metal pad? How does it play? I had a lot of luck with my DX Fusion foam pad, but I want to go to metal.

I've had my DX Fusion soft pad for nearly a year, and it plays great still.

The bad pads may be associated with their parts issues. They are having some serious parts supply issues right now that is holding up their pad construction.

Most metal pads outside Cobalt Flux (and, apparently, CF too, recently >.>; ) are crap. But BNS's Fusion soft pad is pretty awesome.
