Of course you are.... QoL is a 10, and theres plenty of expert 9's you can be doing. Even then you can always work at stuff you can't pass yet, this can be any expert.

If you are already doing 9's on Hard then you should be able to do the Expert 9's. Expert 10's are another story, Queen Of Light is only a 10 because of the hands. So the fact that you can do that one won't help you much in seeing if you are ready for the other 10's or not. One way to find out is by trying it, do one as your last song or play with someone who won't fail.

Yes you are. Your at the stage I was at not too long ago, where you think Expert is too hard for you, but you just have to give it a chance.

play songs with alot of crossovers, and confusing patterns like Oasis, or Disconnected ~Mobius~(both on expert) cause that will prepare you for some of the other stuff ahead. And play some fast songs to get your speed up like Walking on Fire, or Utopia. If you give it like 4 months of practice you may pass your first 12 within 4 to 5 months. So just play everyday to keep your stamina up and play some of the songs with the small bursts of speed to kepp everything going.

Mmmkay, just go through the Expert 9's now.

You will pass around 80% of them first try, 95% of them 2nd or 3rd try, and On A Day Like Today about a week later.

That sentence was actually serious.

Serious, make a checklist of EVERY 9, seriously....and pass them all. It may seem boring, but I did exactly that December of last year (Even though I could already pass DDR 10;s, I did it because I was new to ITG)

By the time you have 1/2 to 2/3 of the 9's down, you'll be getting 10's.

Etc, etc...

By the time you pass something like Utopia or Xuxa, you will wonder why you ever thought 9's posed any challenge.

And by the time you pass Pandemonium (It will happen don't lose faith), you'll wonder how Utopia and Xuxa posed any difficulty.

That being said, VerTex^2 will always pose difficulty lol. 94.55 WR what?

I just got In The Groove today, and I passed Queen of Light right away with a B, yet there are many 9's that I cannot pass. In my opinion, Queen of Light shouldn't really be a 10. It's too easy. E19.gif

I can see how it may be bragging, but why should you care when you and probably 90% of DDR Freak are better than him. Tell him how to move up to expert, and leave. Would you do the same thing if I asked what 12s I should try to pass first, even if I'm fully aware that my 74s on most 11s suck horribly and that its laughable that I play as often as I do and I can't pass Delirium or !?

No. I don't want to help him because I know he did not make this thread because he wanted help, but he made this thread because he wanted to impress us by saying he passed Queen of Light expert. It's so blaringly obvious that he just wants a pat on the back.

If someone truly, honestly, really did ask for help in a thread, I'd help em out. This is a not a help me thread, this is some noob wanting an ego boost.

You'd be surprised how different some people act on forums in comparison to real life.

To stay on topic, probably. Queen of Light is still at least a very hard 9, if not a 10. Start playing some of the easy 9s, such as Birdie and ROM-eo & Juli8, and work your way up.
