The thread about locking threads made me remember to post this. Why can't we delete our own posts? I will occasionally make a post, and then immediatly regret posting it (usually because it is post whoring or something). Then I have to edit it and come up with some more things to say, which can be difficult at times, as sometimes it takes a while to think of something I can say that'd still be on topic. I think it would be easier if we could delete our own posts. |

You can always just edit it to say "Edit: nevermind". But yeah, I'd also like to know why we can't delete our posts. _________________

It really just sounds like your brain don't work good. If you're a little more discriminating there won't often be an occasion that you'll want to delete anything. |

Because then you could flame someone, wait a couple minutes and delete it. We'd have no evidence of what you did.
Or, if you were warned, you could go back and delete the post. Then say "But I didn't post that!" It would make everything a bigger hassle for us.
No more discussion, thanks. _________________
