Can't wait to see em, might check youtube periodically to see if there's any more vids up now that the test has officially started. _________________

It seems some banners got changed. For example:
Paranoia -Hades- on SN2 CS
Paranoia -Hades- on X |

All they did was change the font of "PARANOiA"
They should have kept it the way it was IMO
Does anyone have the banner for Pluto from X? _________________

Just realized something, the frequency of announcer comments and crowd noise is determined by currently playing BPM.

The announcer ain't bad (the MAX-SN2 guy is still infinite times better), but I am annoyed at how often he talks in high-bpm songs. If it ain't broke (i.e., announcer frequency), don't fix it, Konami. =/ _________________

I believe the Director at the test said he was going to fix the announcer frequency. _________________

Happy that Konami finally dropped Betson. Regardless of whatever happens with X, I'm just happy that it seems to be moving in the right direction. I'm [finally] excited to see what Konami has coming in the future. Hoping for X at BZN in Illinois. |

I'm just curious... where did you hear/see this? Someone told me that Betson is no longer involved and that Konami is once again starting to manufacture and distribute their games in North America, but I can't find any mention of that anywhere... is this really true? _________________

It was mentioned in a talk with the Director of Amusement for Konami US from a user (from DDRUK, I think?) during the location test at Irvine. Pretty much the only proof of it is here about halfway down the page. "Konami will be opening an arcade division for the US. Any future machines will be manufactured by KO." |

From what we can tell from the US beta test, what songs were removed from SN2? _________________

I'd like to see them change it up a bit. Sure, they're giving us a huge list of repeats, but there are still a lot that they aren't giving us. If you're gonna release a new game every year, at least come up with some kind of rotation. _________________

None, every song that was on the arcade version of SN2 was on the X location test. _________________

I wish they'd bring back the Club Mix songs they removed from SN1, and we know it can happen with the brining back of Butterfly and what not. _________________

YES.
Yeah, I miss the Club Mix songs. They had such awesome Doubles charts. _________________

Well, with the release of Keiichi Ueno's album, perhaps we can hope for Dr. Love '09 . _________________

That's doubtful.
Also, I like the new Get Up'N Move better, but the others are just kinda 'meh', but it's nice to have longer cuts of the songs. I was disappointed that they decided to just use the old charts as a foundation. Hero is an example of a song that could have used a re-do from the 2nd mix chart. _________________

Personally, I'd go with Dr. Love (from DMX Nonstop Megamix). But then, I'd also like to play the GOTTAMIX version of GENOM SCREAMS, with some actually-fitting charts (though DH was a good step towards that). But then, I'd also MUCH rather see the Xmixes ported into the game! |
