All that sounds pretty interesting, but I still wish they'd bring back Low Speed...

Also, I haven't played 13th yet, so maybe I'm off base, here, but isn't it kind of stupid to be able to change Hi-Speed DURING a song? That would just completely remove the challenge of songs like Checking You Out. No, I'm not implying that it's part of the songlist. I'm just saying that picking and choosing Hi-speed settings to accomodate specific sections of a song makes tempo changes pointless. That's why C mods disqualify you from ranking for songs on In The Groove with speed changes.

All that having been said, however, you'd better believe I'm getting 11th Style CS.

Keep in mind that on songs like Checking You Out, you're probably going to be too busy to, say, hold down the Start button and press keys to increase or decrease the HS setting (which is probably what you're going to have to do, since that's how it worked in the arcade). Just because it's there doesn't mean it's going to be used.

Being able to change Hi-Speed "during the song" is made mostly for DAN and Expert courses guys. That way you can change your Hi-Speed and Sudden+ / Hidden+ before the next song starts, to accomodate for the speed change the next song might present.

In addition, I love how there's two BM US songs sneaking in to this style. They're Toxic and You Really Got Me. Yayay.

Aww... why Toxic and not Virtual Insanity? That song's way better.

Oh, well. At least they didn't bring Celebration and Funkytown to 11th CS. Yuck.

Wait...I thought you can set different speed mods for Dan Mode (like HS4 for Tell Me More, HS 3 for Usual Days-Remix, HS2 for Linus, and HS4 for EveryDay LovelyDay (LED Style Mix)). I do know that Experts only allow 1 HS setting per course, which gives midsong HS change a use (for me). I had avoided every Expert that had MAX 300, Sakura, or PSM in it.

Heh, you'll get it. If I get RED I'll use the HUD that is close to the Red theme on 6th + Core (for the 6th Mix and Original songs).

The BMUS songs are only there because Shoichiro Hirata did them. Hence, no Virtual Insanity, The Way You Move, etc.

As for HS settings on courses, yes, Dan courses let you set HS settings for individual songs. Expert courses only let you set one HS setting for the entire course.
